The History of the Reed Team - Passion for Hilton Head Island Real Estate

In 1986 Charlie founded Charter I Realty & Marketing. He laughs when he thinks about how he sat in the corner on a crate because his secretary needed the only desk for her typewriter.

Today, Charter I Realty & Marketing has become one of the most recognized names in Hilton Head Island realty and throughout the South Carolina Low Country with six offices and over 60 agents.

Several years ago, Charlie's son, Andy, joined the company followed by his nephew, Tom Reed. Andy's background in the stock brokerage and banking industries, and Tom's background as a real estate attorney give them both a cutting edge in understanding the workings of the real estate industry, especially the nuances of Hilton Head realty transactions.   Soon Rich Reed joined the team.  With him he brought years of real estate sales experience, having sold in the greater Bluffton/Hilton Head area.  All have been Hilton Head Island area residents for years, are raising families of their own and are integral parts of the Hilton Head Island community.
